The Kyiv Concert

Christina Aguilera's show was an event not to be missed. That's why I was surprised not to see a big crowd in front of Palats Sportu shortly before the concert was supposed to start on October 21. Inside the situation was similar. The concert hall is rather empty.

Although some viewers might have opted to miss the opening act, knowing that the concert will probably start one hour after its scheduled 7:30 pm start, the place seemed deserted, too. After all, the organizers added another show for the program for good reason: it provides a huge demand for tickets Palats Ukraina. And it was actually the first time that a popular international artist is going to play not one but two concerts in this city.

However, they have a little greedy, dividing the dance floor of the area Palats Sportu in several parts, and ticket sales for the zone closest to the stage of more than $ 300. The result was plain to see - most of the audience that had arrived full of people at the other end of the hall, after paying the lowest price they could, and the remaining two areas waiting fan vacuum for the most part. It is quite clear that the guards eventually forced to let people in the rear to the front, so that Christina would not have to sing before an empty space. And did so in the end.

The opening act - hip-hop and R & B trio Potap and Nastya Kamenskikh - arrived at the scene squarely at 7:30 pm on pop trash His show was fun to see. Nastya is at least decent voice, while the rapper Potap seemed as ridiculous as most local rappers do, at the launch of lame jokes here and there. However, his simplistic appeal to the more demanding public, that he saw as "yours", it was easy to understand.

I was sitting comfortably next to the stage, which proved to be the main venue for all "VIP" guests - local celebrities who could not get tickets for Palats Ukraina.
Most of them were apparently members of the Ukrainian girl bands with their peers. There are so many of them, it is really difficult to follow, and, frankly, I do not even try.

Finally, at about 9 pm, which had already been prophesied to replace Madonna as the new queen of pop appeared in a hat and white pantsuit. Jazzy pop tunes played by an impressive band of musicians filled the air with Aguilera and her group of dancers took the stage, proclaiming itself the real woman show from the beginning. She changed costumes several times and keeps showering his audience with hits, without giving a moment of rest. Starting his show as a retro diva, who ended up as a 21st century high-tech Barbarella - its new image, the performance of her latest single "Keep Gettin 'better' and that a powerful rock song for" Soldier "for the grand final.
